We know that used machinery and equipment cannot be easily moved to another site. Their arrangement must in most cases be adapted to the requirements of the new owner. This may necessitate changes in the design or compensating measures which can only be performed with the aid of the original drawings. The spare-parts supply must also be taken care of. All this can become a problem for you, but this is where we come in - we can really help you: We are able to modify the machinery and equipment to fit into your existing bays and comply with your production program (e.g., initial pass section, roll pass design, material qualities or finishing lengths). We can check the units for you in situ, suggest ways to determine the parts that are in need of repair, check the manufacturing drawings for completeness, etc. All the measures required to put the units into a perfect working condition can be performed by us on a turnkey basis or in form of detailed or basic engineering. We can, furthermore, modernize the plant: overload protection, material-flow control, etc.

How to proceed

If you wish to offer equipment or products connected with the production or processing of iron, steel or non-ferrous materials on the world market, or wish to procure such equipment or products, you can have your advert placed under the corresponding heading.

Proceed as follows: In the menu, click on the field "Your Advert" where you will find the instructions on how to place your advert.

Your advert will be given a certain code number and is then published under the corresponding heading in the language in which it was forwarded to us. We can, however, translate the text into other languages against payment of the respective costs.

We shall contact you as soon as an interested party has been found so that you may start your negotiations directly with the party concerned. However, we can conduct these negotiations for you if it is your wish to avoid direct contact. The commission for our services is not due until the transaction has been brought to a successful conclusion.

We kindly request you to understand that we cannot be held responsible for the correctness of the data issued by the advertisers in our adverts or for any mistakes possibly made during text transfer. We proceed from the assumption that you will check these data prior to the conclusion of a contract (if you are unable to do so, we should be gladly prepared to check these data on your behalf against reimbursement of the respective costs). Moreover, you are able to obtain additional security in that you agree to pay the purchase price into a trust account, where it will remain until the transaction has been brought to a successful conclusion.

So much for the general procedure. Take a look at the menu on the left-hand side and see what other items of interest you can find, or better still, go to the main menu and have a look at what units are on offer or wanted right now.

Costs

There will be no costs incurred for the placing of your advert.

It is only when your advert has led to a successful transaction that we will charge you a commission of 2.5 % of the sales price agreed upon, however, not less than 500.00 US-Dollar (this min. amount does not apply to spare parts). The commission is due immediately after conclusion of the contract.

We kindly request your understanding of the fact that with first-time customers, we have to raise an advance payment on the commission due to us before we can establish a connection between buyer and seller. This advance payment will be 50 % of the fee due to us on successful completion and will be returned immediately if the transaction fails.

If agreed upon, the advance payment for the commission can be paid in the currency of your country into a domestic trust account to be named by us.

Professional merchants who wish to advertise with us will be granted special terms.
